Douro AR

Douro AR is a Lusitano pure-bred stallion, sired by the Olympic merit stallion Rubi AR. He has been in training with DP Dressage team since 2018.

Shortly after his arrival, he became the chosen competing partner for Yoann Pinto, qualifying and participating in 2018’ Young Riders European Championships within 3 months of training and competitions. In 2019 the duo made its debut in Seniors level with a great first performance and a 3rd place in the podium, competing in the Small Tour.

Douro is a very solid horse inside the rectangle, with impeccable work ethics and a great respect and attention for the rider’s aids. A horse with FEI quality that we’re sure will have a great career on the upper levels of dressage.
