Meet our Competition team
DP Dressage Competition team includes two main riders - Daniel and his son Yoann, who follow an holistic training approach aiming to develop healthy competitive athletes from basics to Olympic level.
Daniel Pinto
Daniel Pinto is the Portuguese rider with the biggest number of international competitions. Double Olympic, he has participated in 4 World Equestrian Games, 9 Europeans and 5 National Championships. He is also a reputable coach, training several GP riders in Portugal and worldwide. Most recently Daniel was chef d’equipe for the Portuguese Dressage Team.
Yoann Pinto
Yoann Pinto has competed since young age – 4 times vice-champion of Portugal in Dressage, he has represented Portugal twice for the European Championships as a Young Rider and competed in the World Future Champions in Hagen. Yoann debuted recently as a Senior Rider and he is currently the stable manager at DP Dressage.
